Profiles
marcia blaine The Marcia Blaine School For Girls

The Marcia Blaine School For Girls are a three piece group working in and around Glasgow. They release primarily electronic music combining as many sound sources and influences as they can, resulting in a precariously balanced whole that seems to appeal to certain people. The School has been open for around 5 years although its pupils have only began exposure of their talents relatively recently.

Here are some facts about the School, some true and some not:

  • The School has an interest in the esoteric
  • The School's studies, while primarily musical, also involve other fields.
  • The School occasionally allows it's student body to be added to temporarily
  • The School is peculiarly spiritual
  • The School believe that truth is subjective
  • The School's teaching staff are pretentious, obtuse, elitists.
  • The School's teaching staff and pupils are the same entity
  • The School make regular excursions to display their prowess, both showing off their own talents and also those of other similar educational establishments
  • The School always resorts to contrived pseudo-profound conceptual art-wank to mask it's lack of specific goals
  • The School's goals are open-ended
  • The School sometimes needs to cloak it's identity as The School
