I began making music at the age of 8; first with a Yamaha Porta-tone keyboard and a tape deck, then moving over to guitar in my teens. Before discovering techno, my main musical influences were punk and hip-hop. Around the age of 17, once I'd been sneaking through the doors at house clubs for a while, I wondered what would happen if I put my keyboards through my guitar pedals and hooked it up to a computer. Have been producing electronic music of one form or another ever since.

I moved to Edinburgh in '96 to start Uni, got heavily into the Sativae records Landstrumm/Schmidt sound and started buying records and collecting gear. There were a few DJ spots at parties and small clubs here and there but, after a couple of years, I got sick of DJing and decided it would be much more fun to play live. Fast forward to now and I'm finally playing live shows using a hardware setup and am looking to get back into DJing. My productions and live sets are mostly techno/electro based and always on the experimental side.
