Falkland Hill Yaks - "The Trouble With Pagans"

A well assembled, quirky and stimulating blend of manic machine funk, twisted abrasive electro and trade-mark Bovine Beats 'The Trouble with Pagans' is an all action spectacular of electrodynamics charged with cracking techno and sparks of eccentricity.

The Falkland Hill Yaks distinctive, high spirited storm of swirling synths and driven rhythm picks up the pace from track 1 in flurries of eclectically cranked up ever changing bass lines.

CD3 is a funky fairytale switching subtly through a tempest of climatic conditions (many genres) and erratic edits - by track 5 the mighty Yaks have hit their stride with the energetic and intriguing 'Treefunk'. By then you'll realize that they know their techno technology could write essays about intelligent dance and have been one step ahead from the start of the album setting well the scene for the following turmoil of tunes.

Expect lightning changes of direction and the Yaks 'faintly abstract lunacy' coupled with melodic madness and a bouncing bass with this album ... you'll be playing it 'till the cows come home'.

Moo for joy! 10 quality tracks of Bovine Beats - the best work from the Yaks so far and the bonus track is just that ;)
