Evil is the latest single to be lifted from Ladytron’s critically acclaimed
Light & Magic LP, and it contains very few surprises.
This is another slice of electro-pop with dreamy vocals, which sounds in all
honesty like the absolute antithesis of evil.
I feel that Ladytron are very good at what they do, and it is perhaps
because of their awareness of this that all of their singles sound very,
very similar.
There is more interesting music out there to spend your pennies on, but if
you like what’s gone before then you will definitely like this.
