Always reliable, Anthony Shakir's latest showcases two great talents - the
man himself and Germany's awesome Soundhack. As always with Soundhack,
their mix of 'Like A Dream' doesn't contain many elements, but what they do with
them is incredible. Using only a few sounds, it's the continually shifting
grooves and rhythms which really make this track work. As always with
their music, this will work well on both house and techno danceflooors.
Shake's 'Lay Back (In The Cut)' on the other hand is, ass the title
suggests, one to listen to whilst kicking back. Utilising a laid back drum
break, a relaxed bassline and some lovely, dreamy keys this is a definite
Sunday record.
This is another release that you might have to move quickly on however as
rumour has it that this is very limited. Hopefully not, as this record
deserves a broad audience.
